Health Awareness of Undergraduate Student in Varendra University, Rajshahi

In this study we show that a total of 750 both male and female young people with an age of ≤24 years are the undergraduate student of“Varendra University”. Which maximum home district is Rajshahi, but some of them are out of Rajshahi district. The survey findings indicatethat young student have lack of awareness about the health status. Report shows that that maximum sample (66%) don’t take any periodichealth checkup. Only a few sample (34%) monitoring its health checkup on a regular basis. Majority of the student sample are 78% not takeSmoke/ Drink/ take Tobacco, rest of the student sample are 22% take Smoke/ Drink/ take Tobacco. In our report shows that about 76% knowthere Blood pressure, 38% know there Glucose level, 100% know there Blood group and 98% know their Body weight. About 48% participantsare taking food in time, 38% are taking food irregularly and 14% are not getting food in time. Result obtainin this survey that 44% participantsundergo regular exercise or physical activity. 56% participants are not. About 8% sample people treat their disease by self medication. On theother hand 30% people treat their disease by the prescription of a doctor and 62% people follow sometime with self medication & sometime
with prescription of a doctor. Almost 54% people received counseling on health awareness from health professional and about 46% people
