 Feras Afaneh is Professor of Atomic and Molecular Physics at the Hashemite University, Jordan. He received his BS degree in Physics and MS degree in Material Science with highest honors from the University of Jordan in 1990 and '94 respectively and his Ph. D. in Atomic  and Molecular Physics  (summa cum laude) from Goethe University in Frankfurt /M, Germany. He joined Hashemite University as Assistant Professor in 2002 and became an Associate Professor in 2008. For short intervals, he has been visiting associate professor at Goethe University (Germany) and visiting scientist at Berlin University of Technology (Germany), Max-Planck Institute for Nuclear Physics in Heidelberg (Germany), Lund University (Sweden), Missouri University of Science and Technology (USA), BESSY (Germany), DESY (Germany), CERN (Switzerland) and GSI (Germany). His research focuses on the quantum processes in atoms and molecules, from the passage of electrons across atoms in a few hundred attoseconds to the bending and breaking of molecular bonds during collisions in a few picoseconds. Dr. Afaneh is recipient of many awards for scientific research excellence from DAAD, AGAF and DFG (Germany), IAEA (UN), TWAS (Italy), HU and SRTD (Jordan), and SIDA and SI (Sweden). He served on numerous national/international committees, panels, and boards. He has published over 40 peer-reviewed papers in reputed international journals (Nature, PRL, CPPC,..) and conferences.

. For the last 20 years I have been actively engaged in the development of devices for thermo-puncture diagnostics and treatment on the basis of the Akabane Test. Theory and practice of reflex therapeutic diagnostics and treatment. R&D of new devices and technologies for early diagnostics and prevention  of  diseases. Devices and techniques for monitoring and correcting patients with diabetes, in obesity condition, аssessment of the functional state of the cardiovascular system by means of telemedicine at home, for fitness and sportive activities. Diagnostic and treatment of hormonal disorders. Leader of Project  "Home Doctor in a mobile phone". For this development in 2009 have received a gold medal in USA and 2 silvered medals in Russia for the best development in the field of medicine and telephones We produced about 5000 such devices on which doctors successfully work in Russia and in Europe. Our main mission is to build conceptual bridges on the basis of mathematical analysis between eastern and western medicine. This approach allows the development of new medical technologies and techniques for diagnosis and treatment. 3 of my monographs are devoted to this new medical direction.

 Dr. Paul Zarogoulidis, M.D, Ms.C, Ph.D finished his medical studies in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. He continued his education as a pulmonary fellow in the Pulmonary Department of Democritus University of Thrace, Greece and finished his training as a Pulmonary specialist in the Interventional Pulmonary Department, “Ruhrland” Clinic, University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany. His post graduate training includes fellowship with the Medical Oncology Department, Cristie Hospital, Manchester, U.K and with the Interventional Pulmonary Department, “Ruhrland” Clinic, University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany. Currently he is a consultant in the Pulmonary Department, “G. Papanikolaou” General Hospital, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Thessaloniki, Greece. His interests apart from the daily activities of the department include research in the gene therapy field and novel drug, design, development and therapy.
